We’ve been out a couple of times the past two weeks, searching for the next bite and doing a lot of scouting of new spots.  The colder, early summer temps have really shutdown the fish, with fishing tough across all of the metro lakes.  We’ve seen a lot of fish both up shallow in the sand and off the deeper weed edge, but haven’t been able to get them to go.   The baitfish are scattered everywhere in deep water right now and so are the muskies.  With so much food available, the feeding windows have been smaller.  We had one blow up at the boat last night, but  again came away empty handed.  Water temps are just now pushing into the 70′s and the best days have been the windy ones, with the nights still having the most action.
