With 102 degree heat the prior day and an approaching cold front, we had no idea where to find the muskies except that they would be near the bait fish.  We searched the 15-20 ft. depths and then went shallow to 3-8 ft., before finally settling in on the deeper weed edge.  It paid off big time, as I tied into this girthy monster slow rolling the outside weedline.  This was a lake that had my number for a while, so it was good to finally get a big fish in the boat.  Two for two on muskies in the boat so far this year, hopefully it keeps up.
