TTS had a great weekend up on the Gunflint Trail in Northeastern Minnesota. Snowshoeing and pulling our gear, we were able to find some great lakes to jig for lake trout. Despite the -15 degree mornings and cold blustery afternoons, we were able to locate and land some nice fish. There’s nothing like watching a laker come up 10ft on the Vexilar FL-18 to dominate your bait. Needless to say, after the long hikes in the cold and snow, we made for a great time in the beautiful  North woods of Minnesota.
